10 Wellington Place

No. 10 Wellington Place provides 34,000 sqft of office and retail space arranged over 5 floors. The strong form, with a sloped triangular character, is enhanced through the use of a simple palette of materials, masonry and glazing, establishing a calm high quality character that has a sense of permanence. The BREEAM Excellent building defines the convergence of the existing and new parts of the City. It is fronted by a new public square - Tower Square - and adjacent to the Grade 2 Listed Lifting Tower at the heart of the scheme.
The adaptable landmark building establishes the benchmark for the future development of Wellington Place whilst re-enforcing the relationship between the unique historic character of its neighbours and the wider urban setting. The project was shortlisted for a BCO Award 2015, and for the Commercial Award at the Pro Yorkshire RICS Awards 2015.
