Project Description
Merchants Walk, located within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is a mixed use BTR led development by the Peabody Housing Association offering 557 high quality residential apartments and commercial accommodation arranged around landscaped public courtyards, linking to Devons Road.
The first phase of the Merchant’s Walk development was completed by Galliford Try Partnerships in 2015, delivering 259 apartments and 8 B1 commercial spaces to a thriving local market.
The proposals address a gap in the existing Urban Townscape with the creation of a new square adjacent to the Devons Road Docklands Light Railway Station. A central square acts as the centre of a new ‘Place’ with a mix of local facilities and uses within appropriate scale buildings.
