Project Description
Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher successfully converted City Exchange, located centrally at the junction of Alfred Gelder Street and Lowgate in Hull.
The project included extensive refurbishment, with every care taken to maintain the original majestic architectural features inside and out. The final development comprises 42 luxury apartments, including much needed gated car parking in a central courtyard, as well as private snooker club, restaurant and bar on ground floor level.
City Exchange is a Grade II Listed Building, located on the site of a medieval manor house, and previously the City’s Head Post Office since 1908; and was the first major city centre residential development in Hull, setting a precedent for sales values in the City.
