Aflex Hose

Our client required a new centre of excellence to realise ambitious expansion plans as it moves from four centres in Calderdale to Kirklees. Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher were challenged to design a state-of-the-art PTFE production facility at Bradley Business Park, Huddersfield.

Aflex Hose are developers, manufacturers and distributors of PTFE lined flexible hose for pharmaceutical, biotechnologies, food and beverage, chemical and automotive industries. The full company operations are a mix of true engineering and process, resulting in the finished products of PTFE hoses. On site R+D will allow the company to develop new products to further expand their business. The site will initial accommodate the company’s existing 280 staff and allow for projected expansion to some 500 employees over the next decade.
